Why WATEX In Syria ?
Syria consume nearly 80% of its water resources for agriculture purposes, while consuming about 16 % for the industry purposes and remains less than 4% for the drinking water purposes.
Those noticeable rates may show new opportunities and different possibilities for the rationalization of the consumption of water resources in Syria and could help to overcome the scarcity of water which the region and the rest of the world are suffering. Modern methods of irrigation in Syria covers only 20% of the agricultural production.
